Chocolate High Protein CREAMi Recipe

EASY HIGH PROTEIN CREAMi RECIPES

It’s never too late to jump on the bandwagon when it comes to a healthy trend. This product has been out for a while and if you have any sort of social media you’ve probably already seen what this thing can do. The Ninja CREAMi is by far the best at home ice cream maker and the creativity is endless for what recipes you can make. My absolute favorite are the easy high protein CREAMi recipes.

You can find them virtually anywhere however, these are the two that are my current favorite. Below I’ve provided the instructions for a chocolate ice cream recipe that can easily be switched to vanilla AND you can add any mix-ins (candy, cookies, syrup, etc.) you want! The second one is a strawberry sorbet (again, with protein added.)

When it comes to enjoying something sweet AND hitting your protein goal, this machine makes it so easy it feels too good to be true.

Note: The recipes below are using the older model of the Ninja CREAMI and there has since been a newer release. You’ll want to check out these pros and cons if you decide to buy one.

You’ll have to try one of these easy high protein CREAMi recipes below!

Ninja CREAMi High Protein Strawberry Sorbet

Servings 4 people

Equipment

  • 1 Ninja CREAMi Ice Cream Maker
  • 1 Frother optional

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Frozen or Fresh Strawberries
  • 1 scoop Irish Dairy Grass Fed Unflavored Whey 13g of protein in 1 scoop
  • 1/4 cup Orange Juice or Water optional (for desired consistency)
  • 1 tbsp OPTIONAL sweetener of choice

Instructions

  • 1. Scoop approximately 2 cups (heaped) of frozen strawberries and place into a blender
  • 2. Add water or orange juice to desired consistency
  • 3. Pour into Ninja CREAMi container just below the max fill line.
  • 4. Add 1 scoop of protein (if you add two you'll need to adjust the liquid above)
  • 5. Use frother to mix until combined.
  • 6. Freeze for 12-24 hours.
  • 7. Remove lid and scrape off peak if there is one as to not damage the machine's blade.
  • 8. Select sorbet and re-spin until desired consistency. (Note: You may need to add a little liquid such as water, milk, etc. to get a smoother or creamier texture.)

Notes

If you don't have a frother, you can just put all the ingredients in the blender. However, I've noticed when adding the whey powder to the blender it can make it almost a whipped texture. You may want to let it rest on the counter before freezing.
You can replace the liquid with whatever you'd like and add more/less based on your preference.
