Use extra coconut oil or spray to grease 8x8 pan and place parchment paper down.
Place peanut butter and coconut oil in the medium bowl and melt them together, stirring until combined. (I use the double boiler method however, you can use any method to melt.)
Then add the almond flour, protein powder (if using this), and maple syrup. Mix until it is smooth and spreadable.
Place in the 8x8 dish and set in the fridge to firm up.
Meanwhile, take the coconut oil and chocolate chips, melting in the same fashion. Mixing until combined and completely melted.
Drizzle the chocolate onto the 8x8 pan of peanut butter mixture and spread it out into an even layer.
Place in fridge for 2 hours or the freezer for at least 30 minutes.
Slice into bars and enjoy!
